In the rating of efficiency of communications agencies ACAR BBDO Moscow took 3rd place, Instinct 5th place.

Instinct&MORE left the BBDO Group and became an independent group.
2022
BBDO Moscow became the winner of RACA effectiveness ranking of communication agencies, and got the 3rd place in the National Creativity Ranking.

At the Effie Russia Awards BBDO Moscow became the agency of the year.
2021
At the Eurobest festival, the BBDO Moscow Birds Records project received the Grand Prix, gold and two bronze medals.

At the Effie Europe 2021 Award, BBDO Moscow agency received a bronze award for the Birds Records project, and Contrapunto received a bronze award for the «Honor the Elders» project.

Instinct is the first agency in Russia to win the Global Grand Effie for the Apartmenteka project for IKEA (category Brand experience — services).

At the Cannes Lions festival Apartmenteka for IKEA from the Insinct agency won a silver Brand Experience&Activation Lion and got shortlisted in the Creative eCommerce category.

At Effie Awards BBDO Moscow was named the Agency of the Year.

Instinct agency became the winner in the RACA efficiency rating, BBDO Moscow took 2nd place and Contrapunto took 3rd place.
BBDO Moscow took 1st place in the National Creativity Rating, Contrapunto - the 3rd place, Instinct & MORE - the 6th.

2020
BBDO Moscow became the winner of RACA effectiveness ranking of communication agencies.

At the Webby Awards Proximity got the Honoree award for the BBDO Daily website.

According to the 2020 Global Effie Effectiveness Index BBDO Moscow is the most effective agency in Russia and the 6th in Europe.
In the Food category BBDO Moscow is the most effective in Europe and the second in the world, and in the Food category Contrapunto is the second in Europe and the 5th in the world.

At Effie Awards BBDO Moscow was named the Agency of the Year. Instinct agency got the Grand Prix for IKEA project 'Apartment'.

At the AD&D festival the DICH music video by BBDO Moscow got a bronze award in the Animation category.

At the Red Apple festival BBDO Group became the network of the year.

2019
At Cannes Lions festival BOOTLEG work, BUDWEISER RECUP ARENA for AB INBEV was shortlisted.

BBDO Moscow became the most effective agency of Europe and the 12th in the world according to 2019 Global Effie Effectiveness Index.

Instinct became the 8th among Europe agencies according to 2019 Global Effie Effectiveness Index.

At the AD&D festival the project1st Grrrade by BBDO Moscow got a bronze award in the Media category.

At Effie Awards BBDO Moscow was named the Agency of the Year.

Natives video production studio was founded on the basis of the BBDO Moscow postproduction division. 

At Cannes Lions festival BBDO Moscow got the bronze Lion for the work “1st Grrrade” (Pedigree®) in the Media category and was shortlisted in the Reach/Direct category.

At Effie BBDO Moscow was named the Agency of the Year.

At the Red Apple festival BBDO Group was named the Network of the Year.

2017
At the Cannes Lions festival Proximity work Uber Search was shortlisted in several nominations: PR (Brand Voice & Strategic Storytelling), PR (Travel, Transport & Leisure), PR (Costs/Creative Performance PR Campaign), Media (Corporate Social Responsibility).

One new creative agency became a part of BBDO Group — BOOTLEG.

At the Cannes Lions festival BBDO Group was awarded silver for the work Sun for the Best Friend (Pedigree®) in the PR category.

At the Cannes Lions festival some works were shortlisted in Promo & Activation nomination: The Banner That Makes You Like Banners from Proximity (3M) and Instaposters from Instinct (Nike).

At Effie BBDO Moscow was named the agency of the year and Contrapunto won Grand-Prix for the work Petrovich is with those who dared to repair.

At the Ad Black Sea festival BBDO Group was named the Best Network of The Festival.

2015
Proximity Russia agency (BBDO Russia Group) picked up a gold Lion and a silver Lion in Media and bronze Lion in Cyber for Post-it «The Banner That Makes You Like Banners» at Cannes Lions festival.

BBDO Moscow agency (BBDO Russia Group) won silver Lion in Branded Content & Entertainment for INTOUCH «Mortal Timeline» at Cannes Lions festival.

2014
BBDO Group got the "Idea bathtub" prize at "Idea!" festival as the most awarded agency.

At KIAF BBDO was named Best Agency of the Festival.

At The Webby Awards Instinct won in the Interactive Advertising & Media category.

BBDO Group was joined by celebrity endorsement agency TMA and MORE creative agency.

Instinct became Agency of the Year at Red Apple.

2013
For the first time since the Young Lions category was established in Cannes 19 years ago the creative team from Russa was awarded gold — Proximity Russia's work was first in the Cyber category.

BBDO Group was named “Agency of the Year” at the Red Apple festival.

At KIAF BBDO Moscow was named Best Agency of the Festival.

2012
BBDO Group works were shortlisted 9 times in “Film”, “Promo & Activation”, “Outdoor”, “Cyber” and “Press” categories, they were awarded two Bronze lions: in “Cyber” (“Car vs Piano” campaign for the INTOUCH Company) and “Press” (“Sex shop” campaign for Google Street View service) categories.

BBDO Group won the “HR-brand of the Year” contest.

BBDO was named the most award-winning agency in Russia in 2012 according to The Big Won.

2011
“The Mosquito” clip was shortlisted in the “Film” category at the Cannes Lions International Advertising Festival.

BBDO Group was named “Agency of the Year” at the Red Apple festival.

Pelican event-marketing agency was launched.

BBDO Group was first in the “Advertising” category according to RACA Creativity Rating. 

BBDO was named the most award-winning agency in Russia in 2011 according to The Big Won.

2010
The BBDO Digital agency is formed from BBDO Interactive.

Contrapunto, the third creative agency, is founded.

2009
For the first time BBDO Moscow was awarded with a gold prize at the Golden Drum Festival and was first in the “Advertising” category for the second time in a row according to AKAR Creativity Rating.

“The Squirrels” campaign was recognized as the most award-winning advertisement in Russia.
 
2008
BBDO Moscow was named best in the “Advertising” category, and BBDO Interactive came in first in the “Interactive” category for the second year in a row according to AKAR annual creativity rating.


2007
The creative agency Instinct was named best in RACA creativity rating and became “The Agency of the Year’.

The BBDO Interactive agency won the “Interactive” category in RACA  creativity rating.
2006
BBDO Branding joined the group.

BBDO Group’s staff reaches 500 people.

2004
BBDO Interactive, which works with Internet projects, was separated as a unit.

BBDO Moscow became the first Russian agency awarded a golden prize at the prestigious Epica Awards festival for “The Cosmonaut” advertisement for Orbit.
2003
The creative agencies BBDO Moscow and Instinct, and the integrated marketing decisions agency Proximity Russia joined BBDO Group completing its formation.

Proximity Russia joins the Group.

BBDO Moscow has over 100 employees.

BBDO Group was the first on the market to create an integrated back office that allowed running the company and coordinating all the units in a more efficient and rational way.
1992
BBDO Moscow developed the first advertising campaigns for the governmental privatization program.
1989
The year BBDO Moscow was founded (with only 5 employees). The company was established in order to service Pepsi-Cola, the first American brand with significant presence in the Soviet Union and plants on its territory.
